Steven T. Collier

Steven Timothy Collier, 45, of Bryan, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. A Celebration of Life will begin at 6 pm, on Monday, May 10th, at Hillier of BRYAN.

Steven always had a smile for anyone. He was willing to help anyone in need, and willing to do whatever it took to be there for someone in need. His family was what was most important to him. He loved them more than anything; he was a family man. The day he married his love was the greatest day of his life. "I love you to the moon and back" was a phrase he would say often.

Steven was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky on January 17, 1976, to his parents, Tim and Patsy Collier. He grew up in Letcher County, Kentucky, where he started his collection of ball cards and his DVD collection. Both of which became lifelong collections. Steven graduated with his Associate's degree in Applied Sciences, and was working in recent years towards his Bachelor's degree. Steven worked at a call center, but his passion was when he worked as a special needs teacher at BryanISD. He loved his work with kids, and he enjoyed volunteering with the Special Olympics.

Steven was married to the love of his life, Misti, for almost 15 years. They met online in January of 2006, he came out to visit and just never went home! They fell in love fast, and he asked her to marry him in April. They married on July 15, 2006, and enjoyed many years of love and gratitude for one another. He saw the beach for the first time on their honeymoon! He really enjoyed that memory, and a trip to Dallas where he was blessed to see the Cotton Bowl.

Steven loved all things sports! He enjoyed keeping up with the statistics side of it. He always enjoyed learning new things! He also enjoyed playing video games and watching TV. He had a strong faith in Jesus, and asked Jesus to be his Lord and Savior. He loved Jesus so much, and would praise him daily. Steven is now in the arms of Jesus, enjoying heaven, but he will be missed dearly by his friends, family, and loved ones.

He will reunited with his parents, Tim and Patsy Collier; grandparents, Vonzel and Thomas Collier; and grandma, Ruth Mullins.
Steven will be missed every day by his love, Misti Collier; siblings, Greg and Maryanne Belcher, Tommy Collier, Justin Collier and Jennifer Collier; and his in laws; Darwin and Paula McDowell; sisters in laws Ashley McDowell and Charity McDowell and brother in law Christian McDowell. And furry family members, Buster Neville.
