Mary Huey

Mary Jane Huey, 68, of Bryan Texas, passed away February 26, 2021, and has been reunited with her Lord and Savior.

Mary was born and raised in Bryan Texas, to Thelma and O.W. Hicks January 21, 1953. She grew up with three brothers Bobby, Jack, and John (Red); all of whom looked after her in this world and in Heaven.

She loved animals, except for the neighborhood rooster. Nonetheless, the rooster did not discourage her from joining 4-H. After Mary graduated high school, her passion continued to grow where she became a leader of a 4-H group.

Mary's strong belief in God and understanding of His love, was inspiring to many who knew her. She was very active in the church and best characterized as honest, loving, and sweet. It is no surprise she met the love of her life through church. The day she married Richard Huey, was one of her happiest memories in life. They spend 36 beautiful years together, had two daughters, and was blessed with a granddaughter.

During football season, she would cheer on the Aggies with a good ole hamburger and a caffeine free Coke. In addition, making sure there was plenty of Blue Bell Ice Cream on hand.
Mary has been reunited with her mother Thelma Hicks, her father O.W. Hicks, and her three brothers Bobby, Jack, and John (Red).

Mary will be remembered by her husband Richard Huey, her children Heather Huey, Holly Morgan and her husband Don Morgan, and granddaughter Claire Morgan.
