Christian Ryan Brinkman, 25, of College Station passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019. Visitation will be held at Hillier Funeral Home of BRYAN on Friday, November 15th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Rosary and Memory Share Ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. Funeral services for Christian will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 16th, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bryan. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Christian was born in College Station on November 12, 1993, the son of Margaret Brinkman-Marek of College Station and Larry Brinkman of Caldwell. He graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 2012. After graduation, he worked in many numerous jobs before going to work as an assistant petroleum driver with K.D. Timmons of Bryan. He loved doing things outdoors such as deer hunting in Carrizo Springs, Texas, with his granny and pops, fishing, going out on the boat with his buddies, as well as all other outdoor things. Christian loved to watch the Aggies, as well as NFL football. He and his dad would spend a lot of time cooking and talking about sports and politics. He loved to spend time with his younger siblings, helping them with anything they needed. He and his older brother spent time going to San Antonio with his mom and stepdad, as well as spent many summers visiting with his dad and stepmom in Caldwell. He also enjoyed RV and beach trips with family. He was our ray of sunshine!!
Christian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Darlene and Franklin Brinkman. He is survived by his mom, Margaret Brinkman-Marek and husband Matt of College Station; his dad, Larry Brinkman and wife, Yolanda Mendez Brinkman of Caldwell; siblings, Joshua Brinkman of Humble, Kyce Marek of College Station, and Kyle and Marina Brinkman of Caldwell; niece Nola Brinkman of Caldwell; grandparents Robert and Margaret Badgett Sr. of Caldwell, Lola Mendez of Caldwell, Edwin and Linda Marek of Anderson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
